2014 Update!

I just wanted to post an update on Emily's progress now the 2014 eventing season is underway.

Emily is having great sucess with some of her young horses - Enjoy and Exclusive. Exclusive (Kevin) has been competing in eventing at BE 100 level so far this year with some promising results - including a top 10 finish in a competitive section at Hambleden recently, so lots to look foward to! He also recently performed at Belton Horse Trials in the stallion parade - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtID3LIS5Vw&list=UUtF_iQtIGM_ruNqRBU2Jidw

Enjoy (Sam) is only five years old, but already showing great potential as a top class showjumper. He recently won the Foxhunter class class at Quainton Stud - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Gz_PzVJJzA&list=UUtF_iQtIGM_ruNqRBU2Jidw

Emily and I have spent a great deal of time over the last nine months, sourcing some really special, top quality young horses from throughout Europe - including Ella (part of The Mayfly Syndicate) Emerati Night Sky (Wally) - owned by Millie Harries and Worldy du Hans (Wallie) - owned by Keith and Wiki Lovelock. All horses have had promising starts to the season - Ella and Wally competing sucessfully at BE 100 level - with Ella winning two events so far this season and Wally finishing in the top 20 in all his outings so far. Wallie's first event will be at Aston le Walls in a few weeks time, but you can see Emily and Wallie in action showjumping in the 1m20 class at Quainton here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWryiavGi0c&feature=youtu.be&a

They are all very exciting prospects, so keep your eyes peeled for them at events this summer!

The Advanced horses - the season has already got off to a storming start - with Emily and Greenlawn Sky High (Barney) representing Great Britain in Fontainebleau at the Nations Cup where the team finished in a credible 3rd place.

Barney is now heading to Badminton CCI**** in Gloucestershire next week between the 7th and 11th of May - one of the biggest events in the Eventing calendar! Emily will be Trotting up Wednesday and Sunday morning, completing her dressage test on Friday the 9th, cross-country on the 10th and show jumping on the 11th - so it is looking like it will be an exciting week ahead! He is number 104 so look out for him - Let's hope it is a lucky number!!!

Emily and Badminton-bound Barney were recently featured in a Sussex equestrian magazine 'Local Rider':
