A successful Bank Holiday weekend was had by both Emily and Sophie!

Emily was competing her top horse Pardon Me II in the Nations Cup Team at Houghton International Horse Trials in Norfolk. A competitive 46.4 dressage followed by a double clear with only a handful of time faults meant Emily and ‘P’ finished in 14th place in the CIC*** class  – with the team (Francis Whittington, Izzy Taylor, Gemma Tattersall and Emily) winning Gold! P now heads to Luhmuhlen CCI**** in a couple of weeks.

Emily also rode her up and coming horse Junior II in the CIC*** - another double clear put them within the top 20. Junior will also be heading to Luhmuhlen CCI****.

Sophie also had a sucessful weekend competing at Borde Hill. She took Masterful Clover (Impy) to contest the BE 100 and Ballymoon (Fly) in the Novice. Sophie and Fly performed a very accurate dressage test to score 30.5, followed by a clear showjumping , but with one unlucky run out across the country meant a finish down the placings. Sophie and Impy followed a solid dressage score of 31.5 with one down in the showjumping and a clear cross country to finish in 7th in a competitive section. She now takes both horses to Berkshire College.
